Transporter Talk.. October 09

Transporter Fans..
What a month we have had at T4 -T5 Club this month!!! between our now completed membership changes, and all the hassle that brought, namely several personal membership issues for several members as a direct result, however having worked through the night to resolve these issues seeming to repair the system for one and all... Phewwwwwwwww am i thankful that is over with, hense why i had left it till last...

Other News
In our other news section this month, is our T-Tech Library, which is now taking presedence over all else, and coming along nicely as a result, now i have teh peace to consentrat souly on it, all sections are up and running, currently being filled with useful information as we speak, it should be unveiled to those classes of membership that will be able to view it very soon, [a slight delay is being caused by some information having to be converted page by page to PDF format so you can download it] be assured it will be worth waiting for no other community will have anything like this an encyclopedia on T4 Transporters how cool would that be...

The T-Tech section is our last big move in any direction so all should shortly settle back down nicely, shortly to fast become a community well worth its weight in information if for no other reason, we still and always will be seeking submissions for it in the form of any type of tech information, guide, manual, brochure or How To step by step guide, to help fill our libraries shelves, think of it as 1/4 full at present..

Videos
Do any of our membership have access to any Transporter related videoes whether fun related or from a tech perspective, if so send them to us now at vwt4@live.co.uk or just a link to their location [if your property a simple one liner giving us due permission to show it]..

Images
As always we seek images of all Transporters at either work or play any Volkswagen Transporter models, the more the better which will definately help to build up our resources in no small way, what we seek is images of both T4 and T5 Transporter parts, vehicles, wheels, awnings, interiors etc etc there is so many different images that could be used.

oo -- oo -- oo

In Short

In short it has been an intresting month so far and we are only halfway through it now, and there was me just turned 46 looking for a calmer life as i fast approach the big 50 if the past week has been anything to go on, i am in for a very bumpy ride without a doubt, but i will as always continue to do whatever i can in my power to ensure your community is both driven and focused on supplying the very best there is on offer in terms of Transporter news, views and interviews, which is no easy task, but hey someone has to do it!!!

This months features have due to all else being going on delayed slightly however they are in the pipeline now for completion and will be live very, very soon appoligies to one and all..

For now your long suffering "WebThingimaJiggery"

Transporter Talk

September 09

----------------------------------

Windermere - Meet – Feature coming shortly – watch out for it !!!

Website – Generally our website is moving along nicely, although with over 1200 members, we would of thought our forums would have been a bit busier, and we would have had far more communications from our members wanting to submit their vans to our different features, but apparently not, it seems that most come on only to read our content, which is a real shame as they are missing so much from the total that we supply, some have joined and not come back, some have joined posted once to never be seen again?? Was it something we said? we are an open community trying to mould the group around the aspirations of ALL its members, which we can only do if you tell us what you think, coming on once saying no it’s not for me and disappearing is no good to anyone, please if you found it not to your liking tell us why? So as we could possibly change certain things to suit you, possibly get you back to participate in a community of the type you want, it is only with your feedback we can evolve, we have the drive, determination, and knowledge but we need your firsthand suggestions, ideas, and help to proceed..

Forums – Our forums in general are getting busy at some times others they are totally dead our T5 forums are still lacking members, it would be nice to see this part moving on a bit also, to become a worthwhile haunt for our T5 crew to frequent on regular basis much like our T4 owners do on theirs, sharing ideas, suggestions and adaption’s, if you own a T5, let yourself be known on our T5 forum today, upload an image of your T5 to our T5 “Show Us Yours" thread maybe ask a couple of questions about the T5, and start a few conversations off for us, helping to move it along a bit..Elsewhere on our forums it is the same old people who are posting daily keeping it ticking over, it would be nice to speak to some new faces on our forums, hearing their stories, their problems and hopefully being able to help some more owners.
Suggestions - We are always open to suggestions, idea, and asistance of any type, whilst many have joined but have yet to return not one has left whay they don't partcipate, maybe we are to nice, to polite, or to soft, who knows, maybe Transporter drivers want to be abused, demined and degraded like they get elsewhere daily and pay for the privelage of getting who knows but, what i do know, is without some sort of help were going to go down, quicker than a stone, im clean out of ideas guys, it doesnt seem to matter what i do, nothing makes any difference long term i am open to ANY SUGGESTION now before i take drastic action

Ad-Board Our Ad-Board is a very under used part of our website where-by any member private or Trade is able to add their T4.T5 vehicles, parts accessories and camping gear in the form of a For Sale or Wanted advert absolutely FREE of charge, details of which automatically appear on our front page, a great way to sell of unwanted items we even have a part of Items you wish to give away to fellow Transporter owners a great resource sadly underused come on most of us have something they are trying to sell, if so add it today, if you are experiencing trouble adding anything get in touch and we will do it for you..

T-Tech Library  – Our newly added T-Tech Library is currently sadly off line, undoing an alphabetical tag installation which will ensure you are able to easily find the information you seek, with little time spent doing so, it is going to end up being a brilliant resource invaluable to any and all both T4 and T5 owner full of useful, easily obtainable facts, figures, alongside general information and model specific How To’s across both ranges, we are always seeking information of this type to add to our already extensive offering, if you think you can help us out with any model specific information, any How To’s, brochures, manuals or other such catalogues or technical rundowns feel free to send them to us today vwt4@live.co.uk any and all suitable information sought no matter how large or small send us it all TODAY T-Tech Library will be back online shortly, stay tuned more information will be available shortly..

Well it’s time for my rant from the holy pulpit that is more commonly known at TheT4 –T5 Club UK’s Hq, in the not so sunny climes of Loch Lomondside in Scotland, where as I write this version, the rain is lashing the height of my wee, bungagoe almost, my daughter has just burst through the front door absolutely dripping wet, from merely walking up our street, you would honestly believe she had just walked out the shower with all her clothes on ah summer weather, August

Bank Holidays aren’t they such fun….

So we are 6 months old today, can you believe that it was a whole 6 months ago that we instigated the start of this mammoth journey from nothing to a reasonably well inhabited community group, with some of the best backing in the country where we were told,” There are far too many such communities”, “It will never work”, “Give up” and quite a few I am unable to either repeat nor mention, however I remain absolutely convinced that there is a place for our community with-in this sector, and further more we will grow at a far more rapid rate from now on, as our technical sections duly grow so will we, this is undoubtedly the route to our continuing success at present, by having a well organised easy to use library section where many subjects can be covered completely is the key to our success, I am sure of that if nothing else, presuming we keep this way of thinking, I am sure we will continue to grow at a similar rate attracting more and more useful members to our fold.

The facts over the first six month are thus we have been today operating for a mere 182 days of which we have had 3 full days downtime so realistically for 179 days in truth, we have so far attained 316 threads, which have attracted 3376 replies and at today’s date we have a total of 1069 signed up members 964 of which are in our main members database [for which you see the totals on our side bars] 100 or so of which are held elsewhere from previous websites collations and our 6 Gold Club members equating to 1069 in total which has very possibly changed in the time I have taken to write this update, over the same period of time we have had far in excess of 91 thousand visitors.

The Bank Holiday

What will you be doing ?, I know what I will be up to although not a Scottish holiday it would make no real difference to me anyway, as I would still be doing the same as I do every other day I would be enjoying myself, operating this community on your behalf, for the better good of all who use us daily, I remain in awe of all who use our community daily, all I can say is I must be doing something right at the end of the day,  against all adversity to off, kept it going this long…

Are you going away in your bus this weekend?

Well I can answer that one quite easily with a resounding NO! Why? simple my friends at V-Worx down in Ayr have it, in for some pre Windemere and pre sale attention making a nice bus that bit more perfect, these guys are absolute geniuses to say the least wait and see the results on my “White Noise” also they are going to be tasked with building my new bus “Ice Queen” a LWB Hi-Top T4 custom to our specs and design, which will in itself form a week by week feature with-in our community as it happens kind of thing, predating many questions, queries and such with a full guide to build, as it is not often a Lwb version is used for all it’s only 40omm longer however, it can make a whole lot of difference if utilised correctly, I have in mind exactly what I want in and out of it, but you my members could help me somewhat if during your travels you come across any Lwb versions, or if indeed you won one, send me details of any you can find, whatever they may be, just to the usual addresses, thanks..

General

T-Tech Library is now resoundingly growing into a somewhat resource filled space, we would welcome anything else you wish to see there, particularly convertors brochures and accessory booklets for any T4 or T5 model, particularly “Westies” and such like as only this month we have had two queries about parts on them which this kind of information being on hand would of sorted out there and then, helping our member instantly, as we would have had the brochure/manual he would of needed to hand so come all you Manual owning owners dig deep, think what it would be like if you needed one and couldn’t lay your hands on one.

Just our usual general call for submissions for all sections, particularly Readers Rides – Travelogues and Custom Vans

Life does indeed go on, whilst others worry about having the most members even if those members are phantom members we keep trudging on regardless we may only have 670 odds but we are steadily rising weekly, monthly and bi-monthly, but you know overall numbers do not concern us at all, it is a very, very well know fact with such community is that only a very small percentage of registered members will ever fully make use of the community you provide, so rather than being fixated on members who don’t exist, bragging about our member counts, we are spending our time looking after the members we do currently speak to every day online you know the real live ones like you and I, so here goes for another months chat:

Forums

Invaluable advice has come my way from an unlikely source over the past few weeks whereby I posted on the mighty Brick-Yard forum group, asking for submissions and general advice, and yeah we had the usual trouble makers making their usual inane pointless posts, but when you got through all that one member shone through, a certain Mr Onefutt, who did as I asked and viewed our community, to cast his critical eye over it to assess if we could do anything better, and pointed out a few things like we had very little guest access, so I have rectified that, and made a guest forum now along with a  few really simple tweeks, all of which has resulted in far better reviews generally and a better join rate  thank you Mr One Futt, we are of course one and all indebted to your wisdom

Header

We finally have gotten a half decent header and due thanks go out to my friend over at Scottish Vag for his insatiable help in designing and building it for me, right in the middle of his car being stolen what a star he is.

Other news

Ahead of our community trip to Windemere in Sept, my partner and I are going down to the Lake District at the end of the week to sample the delights this area has to offer our meeting all be it to honour Stew and Jo’s son’s amazing “Swim-Athon” across the exactly 1 mile breadth of the lake for his charity, this kind of attempt to support any given charity should be supported at all costs, if you can make it down we are meeting on the 13th for the swim, but a few of us are going down on the Saturday 12th staying overnight, meeting up that night and attending the following day, we are hoping to raise at least a half dozen vans to firstly support this wonderful cause and to secondly support T4 – T5 Club UK, if enough buses appear a photo shoot could be on the cards along with a cruise round the Lake and a meet and greet so guys if you are not going to Vanfest be sure to come on down and join us full details are on our Events page on our community pages, and also on our forum under aptly named post.

Generally as in all other months Transporter Talks

We seek your help, insperation, ideas, and suggestions to the overall running of our community or to help by supplying features and information for it, or to help in some other way whatever the reason feel free to get in touch at the usual email addresses below.

Keep it real – keep it VW - keep it T4 –T5 Club UK the fun – Free - Alternative

June Jaunts Newsletter

Just a quick note to remind you that we are a friendly bunch here at T4 –T5 Club UK as such we generally talk on first name terms with each other in our members areas and forums etc, however during my monthly housekeeping of our website it has come to my attention that several new members have neither a signature nor an aviator both these are easy to change by simply going to your personal profiles and choosing change then either uploading a picture of your own choice usually of your Transporter, or alternatively choosing one of the stock ones built in either way it ensures our forum and other future members areas look nice and neat and tidy.

Many of our newer members have yet to introduce themselves to the larger community in our T4 –T5 Introductions forum with in out T4 –T5 Community, again we ask that you complete this step prior to posting in our other forums so as the other members then know a bit about the person behind the name, what you drive, your interests etc thus continuing with our helpful arena, we would urge all members to ensure they complete this part of their journey as soon as they possibly can.

As a members community we continually seek our members ideas, input, suggestions and assistance, depending upon them to supply us with features to run every month by way of Readers Rides, Custom T4 –T5, Campervanner, Travelogues we would ask each and everyone of our registered members to consider putting their T4 or T5 up for a feature thus allowing us enough changing material to keep our features changing every month as we had hoped, we are currently gaining some of our features from out with the UK which is also great news and one we wish to continue with a s it allows our UK members to get a glimpse of what is happening worldwide in the form of customisation, accessory trends and such like, all good information to have at hand..

Our FREE T4 –T5 Shop has not quite taken off as we believed it would again we would urge you if you are currently attempting to sell, or are seeking either a T4 –T5 accessories for, or camping gear that you place either a “FOR SALE” or “WANTED” add with-in the correct section of our online shopping arcade, this is open to both trade and public alike, it costs nothing, as we continually have members and guests asking where they can get A, B or C a FREE add might just answer their queries and sell your item, so go on have a look about clear out your lofts, attics, garages and shed and you might just help someone out in the process.

Our galleries could do with some more content also, why not submit your T4 or T5 Transporter to our galleries, all models, of all years are of course welcomed as are any images of T4 –T5 Transporters you may have taken.

As the worldwide show season us once again upon us, how do you fancy being the eyes and ears for T4 –T5 Club UK whereby any show, or meeting you are intending to attend this season, be sure to expel the virtues of Free membership to our community upon each and every T4 – T5 Transporter owner, business owner or show van owner you meet, whilst also taking photography for us while your there any T4 –T5 Transporter whether stunning show van or neglected out in the car park examples are always welcomed here, having taken the shots send them all on to us here at t4club@live.co.uk along with where and when they were taken and any notes, if you get a chance talk to the owners see if they will give you an e-mail add so we can contact them later with a view of doing a feature on their Transporter, this applies to stall traders and businesses if they are selling Transporter accessories etc ask the same questions as we feature one company a month FREE in our Business Spotlight feature so be sure to tell them this when asking a great FREE way of advertising for them!!!

And last but far from least please ensure that our main e-mail address is safely in your address books so our mail is received.

For now thank you for your continued support, taking T4 – T5 Club to almost 30k hits in a little over 2 months and now very close to 500 members an astonishing accomplishment in such a short time!!!

Hello and welcome to our newest newsletter now affectionately to be known as Transporter Talk, from this day forth, as it describes exactly what it is that this newsletter contains to a tee..

So what are our May news headlines then?

Show Season

We will all be well aware that show season is once again upon us, almost in full swing now, let’s hope that we get some decent weather to allow our beloved main shows to flourish as the weather in the UK really is a main bug bear is such activities don’t you think, I am convinced if the UK had far better weather year round like say the US we could easily have a far bigger and better show scene as effectively for 6 months of the year the show season like every other season here grinds to a halt.

However this season we want to see as many of our members out there at the respective shows up and down the country being ambassadors for both the marquee and T4 –T5 Club UK whilst you are at it, making sure every owner, trade member or member of the general public, you meet that speaks to you, or subsequently admires your bus is well informed about our community and all its numerous benefits to be had absolutely FREE

If you are frequenting any show for T4 and T5 Transporters or that will contain them, be sure to take a camera and take as many images as possible for us to use in our galleries and elsewhere on our website and forum, if you wish you could essentially be our unofficial reporter on that particular event by submitting a show report and images which we would turn in to a full featured spot, for the benefit of those who for whatever reason failed to make it to that event, thus helping to keep everyone up to date with who is winning, and who is not in the show scene, but we are also interested in car park finds from shows up and down the country feel free to send us that image taken in a shows car parking that just made you stop and go woooo.

Memberships

Membership is once again rising steadily, but I have to say once again, a lot of profiles have not been correctly filled in, which we would far rather had an aviator, full descriptions and a signature let alone your first name at least, we operate more on first names here than forum names as by supplying yours we are able to be a far more friendly than by using a none descript forum non deplume, which has its place possibly in hostile territory , we pride ourselves on being a friendly fun and sociable place to reside so let’s keep it that way by all doing our bit.

If as yet you have not completed nor attended to completing your profiles please do so now!

General

Galleries – Are growing steadily but could do with more submissions

Features – Always sought on a whole variety of subjects for our monthly slots

Forums – Our forums are growing nicely now, but can always do with your input at anytime.

Ad-Board – Could do with your adverts FREE advertising for trade or private sellers to sell vehicles, parts, accessories or camping gear

Blogs – A little used part of our community why not start a blog today; keep us all up to date with how your build is going, a lasting feature on your build, compiled by yourself as you do it

And lastly, just the usual if you have any suggestions, ideas, want to offer any help, or whatever feel free to contact us anytime at vwt4@live.co.uk same add if you wish to send us images, feature submissions etc

Slight downtime 31st March – 2nd April

We firstly have to apologise for any inconvenience e caused to any of our members during this vital “Global Updating” period for our hosts servers which was taking place during this time frame, it was only supposed to take 24hrs and ended up taking 3 full days a slight difference, I am sure you will agree, however since this time, we have been able to update and replace many features making the overall experience of your visiting or joining T4 -0T5 Club UK a far better one, so a small sacrifice in the end I suppose, but know one  the less that had a few harsh words uttered about it during the time, we have been assured this will NEVER require to happen again!! We live in hope!

Header sought

As a growing community we feel it is about time we had a snazzy banner/ header for our website to take us forward with one identity, one logo, one recognisable form that as soon as you were to see it you would know it was a T4 –T5 Club UK member, firstly to use as a website header, in a simplified form, as a logo, and as an outline possibly as a sticker for our buses, and as we naturally grow dependent upon numbers possibly as a whole raft of merchandising ideas, mugs, mouse mats, tee-shirts, sweatshirts etc  so my friends what we want is someone who is good at this kind of thing to step forward and donate a suitable piece of work to us for this use, possibly a graduate in design, a graphics guru or a company wishing to gain FREE advertising whichever, all are welcome to submit your ideas for selection by our then assembled members. My idea for our header is thus a line drawing of an all white T4 shape drives in right-hand side of screen, as it moves slowly across the screen it slowly changes to an all white T5 and drives out the other side, as a line drawing, of its former self insinuating a T6?? Which could take its place if one was ever to be made, keeping us future proof, but also allowing us to keep and use the line drawing from the start and finish of our flash header, which would be the first and last frame of our header for all other uses, such as logos and the likes, if you believe you could produce such a piece in a suitably and cheaply replicable format as to replicate in all forms for all uses get in touch NOW we need you onboard with us…

Start of an idea, your thoughts sought!

We are currently playing with an idea which would essentially result in some of our forums being gifted to set Trade bodies to answer key posts in, thus a scenario would be – A - Anon has control over his/her specialist subjected forum, let’s say maintenance because his/her company specialises in maintaining T4 and T5 models, so he/she is a specialist and is best qualified to accurately answer all such posts, factually, accurately and only once, so they assure us they will daily answer ALL posts in their chosen forum thus Joe Blogs asks, what is the best oil to use in a Vr6 T4, let’s say so our Trade member answers say 20-50 Duckhams, because it contains the best protection to that engine due to reason A-B and/or C end of Q and A session, the user has a definitive answer the subject is not then open to pages and pages of dissing the trade member good enough to answer our members queries thus protecting them, their products, expertise and name, in not allowing it to become a free for all slagging match designed by some to degrade, insult and upset, rather it given time to grow would end up covering all the basics which would end up in a lesser amount of simple repetitive questions being so, as they will already of been answered, a totally win – win situation for all concerned and one we would be proud to be a part of building a kind of online what’s – what about T4 and T5 Transporters, let’s face it what is every forum users pet hate?. Yip you guessed it, repetitively answering the same questions lets banish them forever shall we….. Together, are you a suitable Trade member with a n interest in helping us along in this manner it would take no more at this stage than ½ hr daily to answer questions put to you, for which you would receive Key FREE advertising in return by way of a thank you if this appeals get in touch with us now at t4club@live.co.uk explaining why you think you should be picked to host one of our forums

Your Thoughts. Suggestions, ideas sought

As always want to gauge your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and ideas with reference to both the above featured items whether  the general, running look and feel of T4 –T5 Club UK, time to have your say, add your pennies worth, say your piece, help to shape the community of the future now! Contact us today at t4club@live.co.uk

Guys

We have now been operating for about one month, and what a month it has been, undoubtedly one I will never forget that is for certain! Whether from the sheer volume of hits averaging  1000 a week just now or to the continued 10 members joining daily at present staying roughly the same throughout the last moth, becoming a very encouraging sign of things to come….

Magazines

I some how have managed to hit both core Volkswagen magazine in the past month with small features in both, a refreshing change for the norm, which has also brought us some welcome hits, in due course and some more interest from major Volkswagen Transporter related entities which is what we require for sure.

Sponsorship

I am utterly thrilled to be able to annonce, that we have attracted none other than Danbury Motor Caravans as our main core sponsor for 2009, a major coe for a community only having operated for around about one month, this should in turn bring us new T5 Transporter owners as they purchase models from them, aslo with a link on the foot of their T5 Transporter motorhome pages it should further bring interest from prospective buyers, we would like to take this oppurtunity to duly welcome Danbury onboard and trust this will be the start of a long and fruitful relationship for us both.

Forum Useage

Our forums are starting to become alive now, pressumabely our memebsr have raed their eay through all our static pages ammounting to some 60 or so now, and finally found tehir way to our forumsa thankfully a few small points to note here, could we respectfully ask if you intend posting in our forums to observe our few  rules of doing so, it is a requirment that ALL members have a fully completed profile, a suitable aviator, and a suitable signature, which serves to keep our forums neat tidy and friendly, your aviator may be a picture of you, your bus, or something elkse tat interest you, your signature, can be anything a url, to your website, a favorite phrase or something similar but please note all above must be suitable for ALL to view I.E, if you won’t show it to your family or say to your kids, don’t add it here thank you, and please, please add an introduction in our specialy added forum for that purpose to introduce yourself to the group, prior to posting asking for help, advice or such it is after all only polite to do so.

Facebook – Bebo

We have joined the social networking sect with pages on both Facebook and Bebo and now on Twitter also, all can be accessed easily via the links at the foot of all pages, why not also join us online there adding to our online presence in these areas, the more we have joining us there the larger our entity becomes, the largerer our entity becomes, the more we get noticed, the more we get noticed the more members we attract, the more members we attract the more our community is used, the more our community is used the better it is for all, the better it is for all the more word circulates, the more word circulates the more we get joining, the more we get joining the larger we become, the better it is for all concerned etc etc etc.

Generally

All is progressing as and better than expected at this stage, we continually need submissions from you, our members to keep us moving along, in the right direction, upwards which is most definitely the way we are going, give us a few more months and we will be flying, as more and more both find and start to use us, we will surely grow and grow into a formidable resource which is what we have envisaged  for our community after all, we don’t nessesarily want to be the biggest if that is at the cost of sacrtificing the quality of what we provide, but w edo want to be by this time next far better than we currently are w ehave so much in mind to roll out, dependant upon numbers joining so lets wait and see, just what transpires as we move along through the weeks and months ahead, I know where I want this community to be… Do you!

Hi guys

Well the day is finally here we launched as promised a bit early on the 20th officially our first user was Stew and Jo, welcome Stewart and Jo to our fold, you are member No 2 [coz I am No1 ], it has been very refreshing to see just how many of our members from T4 Camper have ported over with us, to our new Transporter home, I am sure now that this website will be as much of a success as I had always dreamed it would be whilst setting it up, yeah we will have our up’s and downs but I am not convinced more than ever that e have the where with all to make it in the wider T-internet world as a fully functioning community for as many as wish to join us.

Our first member!

On the subject of joining our membership is steadily rising on average holding at around 10 new members daily, I am doing all I can to alert the general Transport owners in both the UK and abroad that we exist but I would respectfully ask that you have a whisper in the ears of your Transporter friends Trade buddies, and mechanics in this line and ensure that they all know we exist, as the more the merrier we say, if you are going to a show this season be sure to allow as many T4 or T5 Transporter drivers you see know of our existence, in this way by word of mouth we shall undoubtedly grow steadily with the right people on board.

New members

We continually seek good, honest, and genuine Transporter owners to take part in our multi use website, community and forum home so spread the word, I am sure once they have visited us they will stay and take part, and quickly become addicted as I and others have shown already by the posts we are receiving daily, the more of those ,the better also so as it doesn’t look like I am talking to myself, as at present I answer ever post and it can admittedly look that way sometime but is not the case, I assure you, our forum is open to all comers, but I would ask that all members intending to use  it that they first introduce themselves to the group by means of a simple short post in our “introductions forum” I know some have done it on T4 Camper but indulge me and do it again would you, please, it acts to show new members, we are a friendly, sociable and helpful group, before they even join which is all great for our PR, after all..

Jealousy

With current events continuing elsewhere I have to say, keep smiling, ignore the bigots who are trying to ruin our community, they are essentially only jealous of our success, after all they simply do not like their supposed NO 1 slot being challenged, it truly is a shame they cannot see the larger picture, the one where we are nothing like them, we supply a totally different product than them, and cannot truly be compared to them, anyway other than in core content, all I ask of each of our members is that you make up your own minds, and do not be led by what others have decided, upon reading or hearing vicious, rumours to be the case, lead don’t follow, we are here for the long run, we are going nowhere take that for granted, I have invested a lot of time, energy and personality into this project, I will see it through, to successful completion whatever that takes, make no mistake these bullies are only picking on us in an attempt to insight a battle, a battle, I will not now take part in, I have said my piece, it will not be long before they have issues of their own to deal with, they are so hell bent on destroying others they want to look closer to home for their issues and stop blaming other innocent parties, for their demise the simple truth is they were only ever No 1 by virtue of the fact they were the first not the best….

Sponsors

We have also with-in a few days of opening officially managed to attract some interest from a few major players in Volkswagen Transporter circles, all wanting to advertise or have features on our community we have thus far chosen www.vansales.com  as our interim sponsor until a more permanent one can be sourced with a better understanding of what we are trying to supply, thus able to help and guide us better, if your company falls into this category feel free to contact t us explaining what you could do for us, and maybe you could be our core sponsor for 2009.

Submissions of all sorts are always sought by our team to fill our many monthly spots if you feel you could contribute in any way to any of them, feel free to send your submission in for inclusion to vwt4@live.co.uk
