Q- Have you ever been lying on your garage floor performing some sort of contortion on your beloved T4 or T5, at some weird angle, freezing cold, giving up the will to live, wishing you had another pair of hands with which to hold or hand you that spanner or bolt that has just rolled out of reach??
A - The idea behind this initiative is really quite simple, as most of us T4 and T5 owners, are really good at one maybe two and sometimes three areas of running, restoring and maintaining our beloved rides but rarely are we totally skilled in every area required to enable us to have knowledge enough to one handedly complete it all ourselves, thus the aim in this section is to trade, trades.
Lets assume for a minute that you are really good at fitting alarms or deadlocks maybe, but not to confident in fitting a rock and roll bed, whilst at the same time Joe Bloggs in the next village is struggling to self fit his alarm, but yet has breezed through the fitting of his rock and roll.
The purpose then of this community, would be to put you into contact with each other to trade skills, this is NOT a marketplace to advertise your professions, it is merely a place to get in touch with likeminded individuals who are willing to give up some of there valuable time and energy in the knowledge that they are going to be assisting a fellow Transporter owner out of a spot of bother, and likewise that very same person would get a star rating from the person he helped enabling him to gain help from another, and so on and so forth, which given time will build into a very useable database of locally attainable persons willing to for free, the knowledge and that when they are indeed stuck themselves will have someone on hand to assist them out of whatever the problem might be.

It is an idea I picked up when surfing foreign web sites of the same type as ours whilst researching what does and doesn't work for this type of site and one I think you would agree would be a very worthwhile addition to anyone’s toolbox.
