2001 Version
Could this be the face of the next Transporter ?
This idea was first shown in 2001, where it was met by a mixed responce as it is quite radically different to any model previously, and tehn we have heard nothing really ever since, so was this a taste of things to come or was Volkswagen just teasing us?
The solar campervan below is more radical and would certainly go down well nowadays with more and more peopel thankfully taking a certain ammount of responsibility for the care of our enviroment, this version apart from being way cool, well fitting into the image of the VW camper scene, would also be good to drive and not so harmful to our world, what is Volkswagen thinking about ?, why have they not produced it yet ?.
The customised versions of this already way cool, bus do not bear thinking about, we definately cant wait to see what the T5 Transporter replacement will be like if it in anyway resembles this version, it could of course be a totally new version all together and not a replacement at all which would also be good adding another dimension to VW camper vans and motorhomes which in itself would be no bad thing.
