Bio
White Noise as it's now commonly known was originally built in around 2006 [tbc], using an basic white 2.5tdi delivery van as it's basis being previously a hardworking delivery van for a tractor spares company plying it's trade up and down our motorway network daily until being snapped up by Mike Devine at C-M-C [Cheshire Motor Caravans] and swiftly transformed into a very desirable and some what away from the norm "Surf bus".
The bus was by now in legendary hands being quickly treated to the obligatory r/r bed, cooker and sink, along with the usual cupboards, however more unusually in a blue/grey colour which is one of the things that drew us to it in the first place as it was NOT the more usual cherry or teak that is far more often to be found in such conversions, which created a refreshing and appealing change from the tens of hundreds we looked at prior to purchasing this particular one, it was used extensively through the show circuits in 2006-2007 as the company demo for C-M-C in an attempt to drum up business for said company and seemed to do the trick.
It was possible that the customisation both obvious and otherwise helped it along the way to quickly being sold on to a close friend of the owner and from whom we purchased it a year or so later on with only 90k and only just run in, some of the long list of mods include swivel front seats, twin sunroofs, Mitsubishi roof rails, rear tailgate spoiler, under seat safe totally fitted carpets and over mats, to things you can't see or immediately notice like the crystal rear lights and clear fronts to the 60mm all round drop and the repo Audi A6 alloys all round, everything about this bus oozed class from front to rear, inside to out.

Uses
Our personal T4 White Noise is used for all manner of family occasions, as a personal taxi for my teens, as a daily driver for myself, [although we do own another car], it gladly starts, stops and goes to the local refuse and recycling ammenity, to the big smoke in Glasgow or Stirling when required and of course on holidays whenever we are able to, in the almost complete year we have owned her nothing major has gone wrong to worry about, with apart from once conking out which we are positive was due to the excessive rain water on the roads at the time, she has been very well behaved.

Taking us in May of last year to Strathyre just North of Callander in Scotland a lovely quite countryside area some of you might be familiar with, wher we camped out for the first time under the stars when we ahd just newly gotten the van, on the banks of loch Lubnaig, awaking with the early morning sunshine beating in through our sunroof, right above our heads, where we had lay the night before watching the stars, never once thinking about the sun at 5am waking us lovely as it was, [more of this trip in our Wild-Camping section], after this we had a couple of trips to different palces all on dry runs to sort out other small niggles as to where best to site accessories and such like cumulating in one long wekend at Pitlcoihry in the middle of August, an area we both know and love dearly, since then sadly White Noise has been returned to family duties as the arrival of my now teenage daughter to live permanently with us has rendered her to small for all three of us, she is therefore currently being offered for sale or prefferably exhange for a larger motorhome version [see below].
Upgrades
We have upgraded many parts of our bus to suit our personal likes and dislikes as she had no 240v power nor 12v power when we got her at first although now does, also she had the roofrails she has now but we fitted both the diagonals and the roofbox to allow for extra storage space, a whole host of little things have been done to both tidy her up and keep her looking good, from minor paint attention to the fitting of auxillary lighting so i am able to read at night whilst way with her, all in all she is now exactly the bus we first looked for, the only thing currently outstanding that i woud l love to get done to her would be to get my alloys refurbed as it's about the only not 100% perfect part about her, looks highly likely due to the current economic climate that she will still be in my possesion come this summer season, we are currently seeking altrernative sources of adding a totally secure annex for my daughter, [Anyone want a housetrained teen ?? FREE], probably along the lines of a small caraven or possibly a Teardrop camper if we can source one cheap enough in time !!!
